MSgt (Ret.) Johnny Paul Stephens, Sr., better known as Paul Stephens, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Dothan, Alabama.
Paul Stephens was born December 13, 1942 to Oliver and Amerlee McCloud Stephens.
He was a friend to all he met, and went above and beyond in his support for the people he loved. Cooking and fishing were his favorite pastime.
Paul Stephens served his country in the United States Air Force, and retired after 30 years. After his military career, he moved back home where he worked at General Electric and retired also.
He is survived by his wife, Bernetta Hill Stephens; children: Johnny Paul Stephens, Jr., Roxanne Dozier (Christopher) and Suzanne Wardini (Antoine); sister: Gladys Stephens-Joseph; grandchildren: Shavanda Stephens, Joshua Myles and Shaliz Stephens; great grandchildren: Nylah Myles and Edmond Myles, Jr.; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public walk-through visitation, facial covering and social distancing mandated, will began at 10:00 AM until funeral time of 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Countyline Cemetery, 598 Countyline Drive, Slocomb, Alabama with Brother Boyd Stephens III officiating.
All services will be under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
