Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were vaccinated at Windsor Castle, where they are spending the current lockdown in the UK.
Previously a spokesperson had refused to confirm whether the couple would be receiving a vaccine.
It was later decided that releasing the information would reduce “inaccuracies and speculation”.
