James “Jimmy” Carl Daniels, 69 of Esto Community, Bonifay, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his residence.
Jimmy was born September 3, 1951 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He worked with Port St. Joe Paper Mill until his retirement moving to Holmes County. He was owner of Big Daddy’s Liquor Store for several years and also served on Esto City Council for 5 years.
Jimmy affectionately called “Grand Happy” or “Papa” by his grandchildren and who were affectionately called by him “knotheads”, was loved beyond measure by his wife and all the family. He loved fishing, cutting wood and building fires making every moment special with his friends and family.
Predeceased by his father Carl Lee Daniels, mother Bonnie Rogers McKloski and one sister Brenda Parker.
He is survived by his beloved wife Donna Hagans Daniels, Bonifay, three children Dusty (Toby) Hobbs, Bonifay, Amber (Robert) Adams, Haines City, FL, James (Anna) Daniels, Port St. Joe, FL; step-father Tony McKloski; one brother Ernie (Tammy) Daniels; seven grandchildren Presley Skipper, Madison Mastro, Kaleb Hobbs, Dellany Daniels, Hunter Hobbs, McKenzie Adams, Dallas Daniels; one great granddaughter Audrey Skipper; a host of special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorialization is by cremation with a special family gathering at a later date, James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville in charge of arrangements.
