Annie Jarvis Blue May, 88 Passes on January 22, 2021 in Graceville, Florida

Annie Jarvis Blue May, 88, passed away peacefully Friday, January 22, 2021 at Signature Healthcare North Florida, in Graceville, Florida.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Belinda Pipkin Anderson and husband Tim; son Martin May and wife Deb; grandchildren Daniel Anderson (Katherine Wills), Alena Anderson (Travis Maxwell), Chris May (Ali), Corey May Arden (Myles), Jon May (Jess), Jenna May (Dustin Doe), Jamison May and Mike Stephens (Shelby); 4 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way in 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jon May, son Hugh May and daughter Joni May Jacoby.

Ann was born March 14, 1932 to Thomas Murdock “Tom” Blue and Carrie Waller Blue.  She also leaves behind sisters Lullene Blue Angelos and husband Bill, Tommy Blue Hardy and husband Wayne, and brother, Mack Blue.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley, Florida at 10:00 A.M.  It will be officiated by Reverend Ebb Hagan of First United Methodist Church, Chipley.  The family will observe mask and social distancing protocols in an effort to keep Grannie Annie’s friends and family from following her to Heaven (at least for now).

The family is eternally grateful for the care given and love shown by the health care heroes of Signature Healthcare North Florida.
