One of the newest post-COVID businesses in Northwest Florida, ‘Sunny Girl’, was recently started by 19-year-old Olivia Floyd of Chipley, Florida.
Deciding to make lemonade from COVID-19 lemons, Ms. Floyd, who has been making hand-crafted jewelry since May 2020, started her business and is actively advertising on social media, including Facebook and Instagram.
‘I have always loved being creative and doing crafts for fun’, says Ms. Floyd.
‘When quarantine hit, I got very bored sitting at home, so I decided to start making jewelry locally for my friends. After a while, friends urged me to create a social media account. Business took off from there and now I make a lot more than just necklaces’.
‘I absolutely love metal stamping and creating custom pieces for you all. Creating jewelry is truly my passion and I love what I do. Thanks for your support’.
