Flora Louise Pettis, age 75 of Chipley, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Louise was born on July 13, 1945 in Washington County, Florida to Lloyd Johns and Dovie Rogers Johns. A lifelong resident of Washington County, she worked in the cafeteria at Chipley High School and was a church member at Wausau Assembly of God church, where she faithfully served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Dovie Johns.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years: NB Pettis of Chipley, FL; son: Robert Pettis (Johnnie) of Chipley, FL; daughters: Tina Pettis of Marianna, FL, Kim Galbreath (Jimmy) of Chipley, FL; brothers: Olan Johns of Enterprise, AL, Roland Johns of the Philippines; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Wausau Assembly of God church in Wausau, Florida with Rev. Danny Burns and Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
Interment will follow the service at Wausau Memorial Gardens cemetery.
