Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Expresses a Zero Tolerance Policy For Selling Alcohol and Tobacco To Minors

Recently, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) received multiple complaints regarding local businesses selling alcohol and tobacco products to minors.

On Friday January 29, 2021, members of JCSO Criminal Investigations Division, Patrol, and the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) conducted an operation aimed at identifying offending businesses and pursuing criminal charges.

Several businesses were investigated in Jackson County resulting in multiple warnings and one arrest.

The arrest came from the Beeline located at 4678 Highway 90 in Marianna, Florida. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has ZERO TOLERANCE for businesses that put our youth in danger by purposefully selling alcohol and tobacco to minors. JCSO will continue to aggressively investigate those that choose to engage in this type of malicious conduct.
