James Stafford Broxton, 84 of Graceville Passes on February 3, 2021

James Stafford Broxton, 84 of Graceville entered his Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Mr. Broxton was born in Geneva County, Alabama on October 27, 1936 to the late Harmon Marvin Broxton and Bessie Strickland Broxton. A retired truck driver for Couch Construction, he loved fishing, piddling and always finding something to do. He was a “hard working man” and will always be remembered. He was a member of the Graceville Community Church.

A Home-going Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Grace Assembly of God Church in Chipley with Bro. Dallas Pettis officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Assembly of God Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 5, 2021 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Preceded in death by his first wife Sarah and second wife Bama, an infant son and one brother Richard Broxton.

Survived by his loving daughter Candice (Jason) Kirkland, Graceville; three step-sons Daryl Riley, Bobby Dean Riley, Steven Riley; one sister Sara Jenkins; three grandsons Jarod (Sandy) Smith, Jacob Smith, Justin Kirkland; three great grandsons Carson, Ryan, Owen and a host of nieces and nephews.
