On March 7, 2021 investigators with the Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover operation at the State Line Liquor Store on Hwy 179-A.
Information was obtained that Jesse Ugas, 32 years of age from Slocomb, Alabama, was enroute to meet an individual to sell methamphetamine.
An undercover officer arrived at the store and waited on Ugas to arrive. Once Ugas arrived other deputies converged on the store and was able to detain Ugas.
Deputies were able to recover approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine. Ugas was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
