Scammers are now using the Sheriff’s Office phone number and calling citizens stating if you don’t call back then someone from the Sheriff’s Office will come to your house and arrest you.
The Sheriff’s Office will never call you and ask you to send money in lieu of an arrest warrant.
Do not give any personal information out and do not send any kind of payment to them.
