According to WEAR-TV, Northwest Florida will see an unsettled pattern move in by Tuesday afternoon with heavy rainfall, and severe weather possible. A front will stall out over our area Tuesday.
This stalled out front could bring 2-3″ of rain, with some areas seeing 5″+ from Tuesday through Thursday. Flash flooding is possible in areas that see constant heavy rain.
The stalled out front is forecast to start pushing east by Thursday. A few storms along the front could be strong to severe.
The Storm Prediction Center has our area under a slight risk of severe weather for Thursday.
There is a 15% chance chance of severe thunderstorms within a 25 mile radius in the yellow shaded area. For now, the severe threat is expected to last from Thursday afternoon through Thursday night.
