Florida Highway Patrol Release Information Concerning Fatal Vehicle Accident at Laramore Road

Florida Highway Patrol has issued the following information concerning the wreck on Laramore Road.
 
A white Ford Mustang driven by a 20-year old male from Alford was traveling east, in the eastbound lane of Laramore Road (County Road 167)
 
Driver 1 failed to negotiate a slight down grade curve to the left which led to Vehicle 1 traveling off the roadway and onto the grass shoulder, in a southeasterly direction.
 
Vehicle 1 collided with a culvert at the driveway entrance of 3743 Laramore Road and became airborne as it began to rotate in a counterclockwise manner while beginning to overturn.
 
Vehicle 1’s top collided with a tree approximately 30 feet off the ground, breaking the tree in half, then landed upright, in the woods, facing in a northeasterly direction.
 
A 17-year old male passenger from Cottondale was also deceased at the scene.
 
A 16-year old female passenger from Valdosta, Georgia was life-flighted in critical condition to an area hospital.
