Seth Obert Corbin, 20, of Alford, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Seth was born March 26, 2001 in Marianna, FL to John and Nichole Cortez Corbin. He was a 2019 graduate of Cottondale High School. Seth enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2018 and was a E-4 specialist. He was proud of his country and was deployed to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Seth enjoyed his Harley, computer, and longboarding. He especially loved spending time with his family. Seth aspired to get his degree in cyber security.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elkin Corbin; grandfather, John Obert; and great-grandmother, Gail Cahilar.
Seth is survived by his parents, John and Nichole Corbin of Alford; brothers, Auston Corbin (Breawna) and Christian Cash; sisters, Chelsea Corbin and Cheyenne Corbin all of Cottondale, Fl, and Jordyn Allen (Brandon) of Alford, FL; grandparents, Ray, Jr. and Traci Cortez of Cottondale, FL; grandmother, Betty Corbin of Cottondale, FL; great-grandparents, Ray, Sr. and Maria Cortez of Las Vegas, NV; two nieces and three nephews.
The funeral services for Seth Obert Corbin and Tristen Davis Shaw will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Braxton officiating. Interment for Seth and Tristen will follow in Sapp Holiness Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army National Guard in honor of Seth’s service to his country.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
