Directed by Major Bill Chomos and 1st Sargent Pickens, the Vernon, Florida High School Army JROTC program has grown exponentially over the past couple of years.
The annual JROTC Awards Banquet saw a packed gymnasium, with one fourth of the school population enrolled in JROTC- and one of just seven middle schools in the State of Florida to have a JROTC program- as seen in the contributed photo (below).
