On May 1, 2021, a Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s deputy stopped a motorized bicycle traveling on Hwy 81 in the Royal Crossroads Community.
The driver was identified as Jerry Rice from Defuniak Springs.
A computer check revealed that Rice had active warrants on him out of Walton County.
Rice was placed under arrest and a search of his person revealed a plastic bag containing methamphetamine. Rice faces charges of possession of meth as well as his active warrants out of Walton County.
