Heaven needed a loving Mother…God picked Mother Ruby Lee Gainer Hearn. She received her Heavenly wings on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Mother Hearn was born on Wednesday, August 25, 1920 to Willie and Niza Gainer in Graceville (Browntown Community) Florida.

Mother Hearn was a born again Christian. She was a faithful and dedicated member of New Easter Missionary Baptist Church of Graceville, Florida.

Mother Hearn had a deep and personal relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She served as a member, deaconess and lastly the Church Mother for many years at New Easter Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Sunday School regularly. She loved her church and was always thrilled when the Breakfast Ministry would deliver to her the First Sunday breakfast.

Mother Hearn leaves to cherish her memories many including her children: Betty D. Lopez and Earnest Clifford Dean, Jr.; grandchildren: LaShawn Lopez Jordan (Tyler Jordan), Rodney Lopez, Fellis Lopez III, Stephanie Lopez Green (Gerald Green), Jeffery Davis, Nicquita Dean (Cliffton), Kashauna Dean, Laytoya Dean, Earnest Clifford Dean III; fifteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Fearfully and wonderfully made, Mother Hearn was a praying and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend of many.  She wore her love like a coat. Her smile was like pure sunshine to the soul.  She was always a helping hand for anyone in need.  She put her heart in everything, from her family, to her passion for people.

“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who see the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn; look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth.  When I called him he was only one man and I blessed him and made him many.” Isaiah 51:1-2 NIV

Mother Hearn has made many! She may be absent from her body, but now she is present with the Lord.  Her love, sunshine, and all the caring words she spoke to many will be spread on and on and on.  She made many and the many will create many more. Her legacy lives on….
