Dawson Peacock, 84 of Winter Garden, born January 17, 1937 in Opp, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Bonifay, Florida.

Dawson was married to Ruth Talmash in 1963 until her passing in 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Peacock (1947) and Lera Floyd Peacock Barley (2009).

He served in the Air Force from 1954-1962. He was a member of The Church of the Messiah, Past Worshipful Master for Orlando Masonic Lodge #69 in 1991, member of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, an Advisory Board member for the Rainbow Girls.

He is survived by daughters, Marsena and J.W. Garner, Jr. of Bonifay, FL and Celinda and Edward Weaver of Tampa, FL; five grandsons, Adam and Anna, Jeremy, Edward II, Casey, and James and J.W. III and Tabatha; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Luke, Logan, Bryson, Henleigh, and Joshlyn; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
