Nathan Malcom “Tud” Carroll, Jr., 63, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021, in Eustis, FL.

Tud was born on November 9, 1957, in Graceville, Florida to parents Nathan M. and Jessie Lee (Forehand) Carroll. He was a true adventurer and outdoorsman. You could always find him hunting in the woods or by a lake trying his luck at fishing.

He was a man who enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life and never met a stranger who didn’t turn friend by the end of the meeting. He was a proud man with a larger than life heart. He is missed and forever loved by us all.

Tud is preceded in death by his father, Nathan; mother, Jessie Lee and step-father, John Ward.

He is survived by Carmen Carroll; son, Justin Edge (Cathy Miller) of Leesburg, FL; daughter, Kelly Carroll David (Brian) of Winter Park, Fl; sisters, Beth Eldridge (Ricky) of Leesburg, FL,  Judy West of Leesburg, FL, Pat Fischer (Paul) of Atlantic, Iowa; brother, Gary Ward (Babette) of Mount Dora, FL; nieces & nephews, Carrie, Dianna, Timmy, Sonya, Nikki, Megan, Brian, and Matthew; four grandchildren; Chloe, Jillian, Colin, and Madeline Jo.

A brief service and gathering of family and friends for Tud is scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 2 PM at Bethlehem Methodist Church in Bonifay.

Interment will be in the family plot at the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Marianna in charge of arrangements.
