Jackson County, Florida School District Clears Up Misconceptions and Confusion With 2021 Dress Code

By | July 23, 2021

Per the Jackson County, Florida School District:

It seems there has been some confusion on the dress code for grades 6-8 so we want to clarify- ALL SCHOOL COLORS for approved shirts are STILL allowed as they were last year (for example, purple for MHS, blue or gold for SHS, blue or orange for Cottondale, orange for Malone or Graceville).

Just as last year white and black are options for all schools and added for this year is GRAY, to give another option.

Adding gray did not do away with school colors, it was just added as another option.

The only other change is that for the upcoming year is “hoodies” in the school or gray, black, white colors are also allowed and solid color black or blue bottoms (pants, skirts, capris, shorts in approved length) to be added to denim or khaki.

Black denim is ok.

We hope this clears up the confusion.
