James Ronnie Curry, 74 of Bonifay, Florida Passes on August 1, 2021

Mr. James Ronnie Curry, 74 of Bonifay, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. 

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Gary Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in East Pittman Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m.

Mr. Curry was born in Chipley, FL on September 7, 1946, to the late Aubrey and Iva Lou Sowell Curry. Ronnie was a loving and devoted Husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed working on his farm farming and raising cattle. He also enjoyed attending church with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Marcille Lewis.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sharon Curry of Bonifay, AL; three children, Natalie Curry of Coffee Springs, AL, Jaime Strickland (Scott) of Black, AL, and Shaun Day of Geneva, AL; grandchildren, Hunter Lowe, Kelsey Butler, Kylie Strickland, River Clark, and Inda Hasty; great-grandchildren, Isabella O’Bryan, Emily Stokes, Trooper O’Bryan, Soldier Butler, Gracin Beagles, Joseph Noseworthy, Ensley Curry, and Oakland Hasty; brothers, Danny, Dennis, and Willie Joe Curry; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers: Stevie Lewis, Phillip Lewis, Chris Henderson, Gary Grantham, Hunter Lowe, Shaun Day, and Jody Curry.
