Florida Panhandle Technical College To Hold Fundraiser on 8-6-21 for Staff Member Awaiting Kidney Transplant

By | August 4, 2021

Anyone who has had the opportunity to enjoy barbeque prepared by Floyd Aycock and the Chipley Fire Department knows that barbeque doesn’t get much better.

Floyd and his crew have graciously donated their time to help Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley, Florida to raise funds to help one of their own afford an upcoming kidney transplant.

Teresa Keen, longtime FPTC staffer has been on dialysis for a while now, awaiting the opportunity to get on the ‘short list’ for a kidney transplant, a procedure which has the ability to save her life.

Florida Panhandle Technical College invites you to be a part of this effort by purchasing lunch on Friday, August 6, consisting of a hearty barbeque sandwich, chips and a piece of homemade cake- all for a donation of only $8.

If you don’t like barbeque, the FPTC staff will accept cash donations, and more information can be had from Marie Broxton at 850-638-1180, extension 634.
