Cory Dean Nelezen, 47 of Bonifay, Florida passed on August 11, 2021 after a courageous battle with COVID-19.
Growing up Cory attended Crivitz and Wausaukee, Wisconsin school districts.
Cory is survived by his daughter, Cortney Fay Nelezen and her sister Tiara Thomas and their mother Tara Thomas; his step-father, Darryll Schmidt (fiancé Janet Smith); his sister Roxanne (Doug) Chronert; his brothers, Steven (Brigitte) Schmidt and Matthew Schmidt (Jesse Brauer); niece and nephews: Eva Chronert, Eliott Chronert, Keelan Schmidt, and Cael Schmidt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cory was proceeded in death by his father, Thomas C. Nelezen and his mother, Fay L. Schmidt (neé Schroeder).
Cory’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at Doctor’s Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida for all their care and support to Cory and his family.
