A second-grade class at Sneads Elementary was quarantined on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 due to being exposed to a teacher who has tested positive for COVID, according to the Jackson County Times.
Jackson County, Florida Superintendent of Schools Steve Benton said, “I got the call that a second grade teacher had tested positive and to err on the side of caution, the class has been quarantined’.
We hate it and we encourage anyone who is not feeling 100% to stay home. We feel this is an isolated case.”
