The City of DeFuniak Springs, Florida will be closed Monday, August 16, 2021, due to anticipated inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Fred.
The City plans to resume all services and normal hours of operations Tuesday, August 17.
Residents with garbage service scheduled for Mondays will have their garbage picked up on Tuesday, August 17.
Essential City personnel will be on standby throughout the storm.
City officials will continue to remain in direct communication with the Walton County Emergency Operations Center for further updates and announcements.
