Florida Panhandle Technical College Students Explain Digital Video Technology Program to FPTC Learning Resource Center Students

By | August 21, 2021

On Friday, August 20, 2021, students from the Digital Video Technology Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College presented a short explanation of what their program was all about to a group of FPTC students currently studying to obtain their high school diplomas.

Part of a brand new program to encourage Career and Technical Education through the State of Florida Department of Education, the program will allow diploma-bound students the ability to spend half of the day with the DVT Program students, fast-tracking them to a potential career in photography, video, audio production, drone technology, radio or television, or some other form of creative media development and production.

FPTC DVT Instructor Paul Goulding led the discussion on Friday morning, introduced by LRC Director Joli Hartzog, and included his students in the DVT program to address the LRC students, answering questions about the opportunity, as seen these photos from the event (below) of and by students.

The program, a combination of Photography, Videography, Audio Production, Drone Technology, Marketing, Website Production, Responsible Social Media, and other life skills, is open to dual-enrolled high school students and adults.
