Mrs. Gertrude Sellers Majors, age 85, of Bonifay, Florida passed away August 22, 2021, at her home.
She was born April 11, 1936, in Holmes County Florida to the late Henry Sellers and Annie Lee Hewett Sellers.
In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William Roy Majors, one brother, J.C. Sellers, one sister, Gladys Sellers Pitts and a son-in-law, Wayne Wilcox.
Gertrude is survived by one son, Doyle Majors and wife Mary of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Debbie Wilcox Morris and husband Buddy of Bonifay, FL; seven grandchildren, Tracy Majors Hinson and husband Perry, Mandi Majors Wilson and husband Dom, Bambi Wilcox Mayfield and husband Josh, Kaycee Wilcox Patel and husband Ravin, Johnny Morris and wife Tia, Stephanie Morris and Daniel Morris and wife Melinda; nine great-grandchildren, Tucker Hinson, Carter Wilson, Parker Mayfield, Chipper Mayfield, Ander Roy Mayfield, Mary Elle Morris, Clark Morris, Amelia Morris and Daniel Morris, II; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Goodson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sellers Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:00 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
