Christopher Griggs, 62 of Eastpoint, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2021 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Christopher was born on August 15, 1959, in Chipley, Florida to Charles Griggs and Marvel Kent. He was of the Christian faith and grew up attending Oakie Ridge Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida. Chris also attended Living Waters Assembly of God in Apalachicola, as well as Sunny Hills Baptist Church in Sunny Hills, Florida. He loved his family dearly and will be sorely missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Marvel Griggs; brother: Steve Griggs; sisters: Gladys Griggs, Beverly Jackson.
He is survived by his loving wife: Susan Griggs of Eastpoint, Florida; step sons: James Anderson (Amy) of Apalachicola, Florida, Jacob Anderson of Eastpoint, Florida; brother: Ken Griggs of Virginia; sister: Barbara Morris of Apalachicola, Florida; step grandchildren: Anna, Ethan, Ben, Jasper, Tinley, Asher, Ella; several nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
