Mr. Vickie Lynn“Vick” Sanders, passed away August 26, 2021, at the age of 64.
Memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with Rev. Wesley Adams and Bro. Larry Curry officiating and Warren Holloway Ward directing. Visitation will be held beginning at 5:00pm and continue until service time.
Vick was born July 23,1957 in Apopka, Florida to the late Lewis Comer and Vivian Curry Sanders. He loved his family, especially spending time with his children and grandchildren taking them fishing, and hunting. Enjoyed farming and spending time on his tractor and woodworking. Vick loved the Lord and always took time to help his neighbors.
Preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Gail Jones and Marlene Howell and 1 brother, Terry Sanders.
Survived by his wife of 46 years, Rudene Sanders, of Bonifay, FL; two daughters; Jamie Sanders Stephens, of Bonifay, FL and Becky Lynn Dillard (Kyle) of Geneva, AL; one son; Chase Sanders (Gabriel) of Bonifay, FL and six grandchildren; B.J. Stephens (Makayla) of Bonifay; Heather Strickland (J.D.) of Wewahitchka, FL; Savannah Stephens (Ty), Opelika, AL; Kaleb Dillard “Gator”, Geneva, AL; Macy Dillard, Geneva, AL and Landon Sanders of Bonifay; one great-grandson; Jayce “Jay Bird” Stephens of Bonifay, FL and one great-granddaughter on the way, Miss Aubrie Stephens; one brother; Luquette Sanders of Bonifay, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
