A Fountain, Florida woman is behind bars after attempting to flee an attempted traffic stop.
On August 9, 2021, around 7 p.m. Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputies attempted a traffic stop.
After multiple attempts to stop the vehicle, deputies assisted the driver, identified as Rhoda Lynn Commerford, 51-year-old, Fountain resident, to a complete stop.
Commerford exited the vehicle and refused to comply. Deputies arrested Commerford after a short altercation.
Commerford was transported and booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of flee/elude LEO with lights and sirens active, resting an officer and battery.
