Jeanie Sharon Boggs Algeo, 75, of Gahanna, OH, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Jeanie was born on May 5, 1946, in Quinwood, WV. She loved music, dancing, traveling, camping, lakes, and the ocean. She was proud of being a mom and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her father, Woodie Clinton Boggs; mother, Dimple Irene Smith; and her beloved puppies, JJ, Jingles, and Jessi.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband, Tex Algeo; daughters, Lesia Jean (Newell) Campbell (Bernard), Teresia Eugenia (Newell) Shepherd (Don) and Angel Lea (Algeo) Herendeen (Todd); son, Howard (Buddy) Eugene Newell, II (Kym); grandchildren, Candice Janie (Campbell) Walton (Joel), Michael Bernard Campbell (Emily Zinn), Christy Noel Grimm, Noah Michael Grimm, Derek Herendeen, Chelsea Foster, and Bethany Byrd; great-grandchild, Julian Kenneth Walton; and many loving brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the Todd Herendeen Theater. A private family service will follow. Jeanie will be laid to rest at Point Washington Community Cemetery at a later date.
