Edward Devon Sapp, age 82, of Pensacola, Florida passed away September 27, 2021, at the Covenant Care Center for Hospice at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola.
He was born June 15, 1939, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Bodie Edward Sapp and Willow Vernell Pate Sapp.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sapp was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jeanell Todd Sapp and one sister, Sandra Thames.
Mr. Sapp is survived by his three children, Michele Lowery and husband Michael of Pace, FL, Darren Sapp and wife Michelle of Pensacola, FL and Vicki Lynn Wheeler and husband Stephen of Pensacola, FL; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Brother Nowell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
