A motorcyclist was arrested on fleeing and eluding charges after leading Washington County deputies on a short pursuit.
This afternoon, September 30, 2021, deputies initiate a traffic stop near the intersection of Rogers Rd. and State Rd. 77.
The driver of the motorcycle, 31-year-old, Kevin Harrison of Chipley, failed to stop.
Harrison continued North on State Rd. 77 into Wausau leading deputies to an address near Ledger Rd. Harrison abandoned the motorcycle and took off on foot.
The perimeter was established, and a short time later Harrison was located in the area.
Deputies arrested and transported Harrison to the Washington County Jail where he was booked on charges of fleeing and eluding.
