Betty Wise, 75 of Cottondale Florida, passed from this life on October 7, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was born on January 1,1946 in Port St. Joe, Florida to Earl Rich and Elsie Mae Morgan. A lifelong member of the Florida Panhandle, she was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Cottondale, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Elsie Rich; grandchild: Tiffany Zippler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Butch Wise of Cottondale, FL; son: Joseph Pate (April) of Malone, FL; stepdaughter: Wanda Zippler (Howard) of North Augusta, SC; brother: Earl Rich of Sumatra, FL; sisters: Janice Adcock (Don) of Panama City, FL; JoAnn Daughtry (Clyde) of Sopchoppy, FL, Earline McGee (Llyod) Marianna, Fl; grandchildren: Amber Gilfillan (Zachary), Ashlee Pate, Addison Pate, Nyssa Zippler.
A graveside service will be held at 4PM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Cemetery Cottondale, FL with Rev. Rich Elligson officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 3-4PM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Cottondale, Florida. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in his honor to the Piney Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
