Antonette “Toni” Clopton, 77 of Chipley, Florida, passed from this life on October 13, 2021 at Vitas Community Health and Rehabilitation Center in Panama City, Florida.
Toni was born on February 16, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph Schmitt and Amelia Cusimano. Toni had been a resident of Chipley for over 35 years, coming from St. Petersburg, Florida. In her free time, she enjoyed the art of pottery and making ceramics. She was of the Christian faith and had a strong love for animals, especially her dogs, cats, and goats; but more than anything, she loved and adored her family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Haymond Junior Clopton; parents: Joseph and Amelia Schmitt.
She is survived by her sons: John Clopton (Teri) of Chipley, FL; Bobby Clopton (Mary) of Chipley, FL, daughters: Phyllis Dyvig (Kenny) of Chipley, FL, Kathy Walker (Mike) of Chipley, FL; sister: JoAnn Ralston (Roger) of Redding, OH; half brother: Donald Smith; 17 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Grace and Glory Worship Center in Chipley, Florida with Bro. Mike Walker officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
