The skate park at 361 North 10th Street in DeFuniak Springs reopened at 8am on October 19, 2021. City officials temporarily closed the park for repairs to the skate ramps and concrete.
“We anticipated the park to be closed through the holidays,” says DeFuniak Springs Parks Supervisor Charlie Arcabascio, “but our Public Works team was able to make all needed repairs within just a couple of weeks. The park is now open.”
Repairs include tightening of screws on all ramps, repositioning of ramps, cementing cracks, and smoothing out concrete defects throughout fenced park pavement.
