Brenda Carol Smith McClelland, 65 of Bruce, passed from this life on October 15, 2021 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center.
Brenda was born on September 20, 1956 in Dade City, Florida to Oscar Smith and Elvie Crotts Burris. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Westbrook Assisted Living in Geneva, Alabama before retiring.
Brenda enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her garden and was a Championship Horse Rider in her earlier days. She was also a gifted cook and loved to sew and crochet. Brenda will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She will be sorely missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Wayne McClelland; fathers: Oscar Smith and Donald Crotts; daughter: Allison Carol McClelland.
She is survived by her mother, Elvie Crotts Burris (Robert) of Naples, FL; daughters: Katrina McClelland (Edward Rodman) of Dothan, AL, Tammie McMahon of Alabama, Amanda McClelland of Enterprise, AL, Ashley McClelland (Shawn Hare) of Bruce, FL, Donna McClelland of Dothan, AL, Madilyn McClelland of Bruce, FL; sister: Tabitha Crotts; brothers: Donnie Crotts and Scooter Crotts both of Naples, FL; grandchildren: Joshua Smith (Jessica), Brandon Smith, Jasmine Hare (Timothy Rucker), Jewlie Cosby (Angel), Adelina Hare, Charles Brown, Dylan Brown; great grandchildren: Rylan Smith, Jaxon Smith, Aaliyah Smith, Luna Smith, Ava Wells, Jordan Wells, Anthony Simoneaux, Kingston Cosby; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at Ebro Baptist Church.
