Hector Gonzaga, 38 of Cottondale, passed from this life on October 23, 2021 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.
Hector was born on December 9, 1982 in El Carrizal Municipio de Tlacoapa, Guerrero, Mexico to Inocencio Gonzaga and Felicita Navarro. He worked as a greenhouse operator for City Greens Organic Farms.
He was preceded in death by his father, Inocencio Gonzaga.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Epifania Miranda Gonzaga of Cottondale, Florida; children: Miriam Gonzaga of Mexico, Uriel Gonzaga and Roselyn Gonzaga both of Cottondale, Florida; mother: Felicita Navarro of Mexico; sisters: Vinora Gonzaga and Celia Gonzaga both of Mexico; brothers: Melecio Gonzaga and Wenceslao Gonzaga both of Mexico, Jose Ignacio Gonzaga and Abundio Gonzaga both of Louisiana.
Funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Chipley, Florida with Fr. Will Ganci officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Sunny Hills, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation 6-7 PM Friday, October 29, 2021 at Obert Funeral Home, as well as, from 9-11 AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Chipley, Florida.
