At approximately 3:55AM on Thursday, October 28, 2021, a tractor trailer rig driven by a 48-year old male from Lake Worth, Florida was eastbound on Interstate 10 in the outside lane towing a trailer.
At that time, the vehicle had a tire failure, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
The vehicle and it’s trailer began to rotate counter clockwise, traveling across the inside lane and into the median.
Vehicle one and its trailer overturned onto their right side.
Vehicle one and its trailer came to a final rest in the median facing north, partially blocking the inside westbound lane of travel.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Crews worked diligently and the lanes were fully open shortly after 8:30AM CST.
