Christopher G. Ammons, age 42, of Alford, FL, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.
Chris was born August 31, 1979 in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Gordan Ammons and Sheree Livingston Antley. He was a resident of Jackson County for the last 17 years and was most recently a supervisor and heavy equipment operator for Enviva. Chris and his wife, Santana, attended Cottondale First Assembly of God Church. He loved Florida State Football and spending time with his family, especially his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tiffany Brooks; and mother-in-law, Janet Fettinger.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Santana Ammons; children, Kenlee, Caden, and Kash Ammons; siblings, Tonda Brooks (Jason) of Clarksville, Fl, Briana Thompson (Cody) of Quincy, FL, Tori Antley of Portland, OR, Taylor Antley of Lafayette, LA, Scott Ammons (Teresa) of Los Angelos, CA, Kaycee Moore (Camron) of Bristol, FL, and Ethan Ammons (Brittany) of Briston, FL; special aunts, Lorine Davis and Judy Williams; father-in-law, Kenneth Fettinger; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Cottondale First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Chris Franklin and Scott Ammons officiating. Interment will follow in Williams Family Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Monday, November 1, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
