Robert Loyd Thrush, Sr., age 83, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 8, 2021, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
He was born December 12, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Sidney Thrush and Hannah Myers Thrush.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Thrush was preceded in death by seven brothers.
Mr. Thrush is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hermine Marie Thrush of Bonifay, FL; one son, Robert ‘Bob’ Loyd Thrush, Jr. and wife Debbie of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Nancy Mitchell of Craig, NE and Corinne Thrush of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Leslie Thrush of Chipley, FL; four grandchildren, Cole Mitchell, James Mitchell, Michael Bozarth, and Makayla Thrush; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2021, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
