Two arrested on drug and possession of paraphernalia charges after physical disturbance.
On November 6, at approximately 7 pm, a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a call in reference to a physical disturbance at the Ebro Motel. While speaking with the alleged victim, who was identified as 28-year-old, Natalia Kalina of Freeport, the deputy observed several illegal items.
Kalina stated the items belonged to her boyfriend, 40-year-old, Shane Roehm, of DeFuniak Springs. Roehm had exited the room when the two started arguing and took a black bag with him.
Kalina informed deputies that the bag contained “dope”.
Roehm returned to the room and was questioned about the whereabouts of the black bag.
After further investigation, deputies located the black bag and it was found to contain several plastic containers, miscellaneous items and Roehm’s wallet.
Roehm admitted the items in the bag were his.
Items located in the bag were Heroin/Fentanyl mix, methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Items field tested positive for Heroin and methamphetamines.
Both were arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail.
