A Jacksonville man was arrested and charged with several drug charges after a traffic stop yields trafficking amount of amphetamine.
On November 15, 2021 a call came into to the communications center reference a grey Honda minivan traveling west bound on Hwy 90 driving recklessly.
A deputy was able to intercept the vehicle around Westville and conduct a traffic stop after observing a traffic violation.
The driver was identified as Kyle Hatcher from Jacksonville, Florida. While the deputy was talking to the driver, K9 Lasso was utilized and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and located in the vehicle was trafficking amount of amphetamine pills along with Xanax, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Hatcher was arrested and charged with reckless driving, possession of Xanax, trafficking in amphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
