Curtis Ray Uptagrafft, 71 of Marianna, Florida Passes on November 19, 2021 at Signature Healthcare

Curtis Ray Uptagrafft, age 71, of Marianna, Florida passed away November 19, 2021, at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard in Marianna. He was born in Tampa, Florida on September 3, 1950, to the late Billy Ray Uptagrafft and Marilyn Virginia Davis Uptagrafft. In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Uptagrafft, a sister, Shirley Ann Moss, and a sister-in-law, Catherine Uptagrafft

Curtis worked for Pantry Pride in Tallahassee, Florida. After moving back to Marianna, he worked as a custodian for Washington County School Board at a school located in Sunland of Marianna, Florida. He was dependable and hardworking and eventually retired from Washington County School Board.

Curtis was well known for his sweet disposition and was a social butterfly who loved to joke. He loved driving his favorite red scooter around town. Fishing was a favorite pastime, but he had a great love for eating at the Waffle House where he was regular, and the staff knew him by name. He followed Nascar, but his love for the Atlanta Braves could rival anyone! He believed and loved his Lord and Savior. Curtis was well loved by many people and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Roger Moss, niece Jennifer Neitsch and husband Jeffery Neitsch, great-nephew, Zachary Neitsch and wife Jennifer Thomason Neitsch, and great-niece, Hannah Neitsch all of Bonifay, FL. He is also survived by two aunts and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the Esto Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 AM in the Esto Community Cemetery.
