Hal Keith Retherford of Southport, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was 60 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Rodd Jones and Rev. Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Anna Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Hal was born on June 09, 1961, in Milton, FL to Billy Charles and Beatrice Coursey Retherford. Hal was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He dearly loved his family and spending time with them. He was widely known as a hard worker and dedicated to doing his best at whatever he put his heart into.
Hal was preceded in death by a son, Hal Keith Retherford II, and one sister, Donna Retherford Broxton.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ginger Retherford of Southport, FL, two sons, Brian Retherford (Brittany) of Dothan, AL and Brandon Retherford (Sarah) of DeFuniak Springs, FL; two stepsons, Torrey Blackmon (Candice) of Westville, FL and Dustin Blackmon of Southport, FL; six grandchildren, Blaine, Abbey, and Reid Retherford, Laython, Clayton and McKennah Blackmon; father and mother, Billy and Beatrice Retherford of Westville, FL; two sisters, Maria Ham (Robert) and Stacy Pitts (Chance) both of Westville, FL; a special canine buddy, “Jake” and a host of other close family and friends.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Torrey Blackmon, Dustin Blackmon, Greg Laird, Gene Commander, Johnny Stafford, Paul Rodriguez and Mark Page.
