Chipley, Florida attracted a quality retail store last month when ‘Blackmon’s Men’s, Women’s and More’ opened in the Washington Square in downtown Chipley.
Today, Friday, December 3, 2021, Blackmon’s will embrace the community by offering free popcorn to residents going to the Downtown Chipley Christmas Parade at 5:30PM.
‘We are proud to be a part of this community’, said Manager Kayla Baxter while unpacking holiday decorations, ‘and Owner Brent Blackmon and I are looking forward to seeing our first Chipley Christmas Parade on Friday evening’.
Located just a mile north of the I-10 interchange at Exit 120, Blackmon’s will share the strip mall at 1414 Main Street, currently the longtime home of WestPoint Home Bed and Bath Factory Outlet and Javier’s Mexican Grill.
Formerly the location of Goody’s, the strip mall sees a lot of traffic, driven in large part by busy Highway 77 (Main Street) and the proximity of I-10 and Walmart to the south.
Blackmon’s features Wrangler and Lee jeans, Vanity Fair products for women, King’s Camo for the outdoorsman in your life, as well as Alfred Dunner and 143 Story, along with a line of jewelry, foot ware and household items, as seen in the photos (below).
‘We are excited to see Blackmon’s come to our plaza’, said Sherrie Chesnut, manager of WestPoint Home Bed and Bath Factory Outlet, which anchors the opposite end of the mall.
Visitors to Javier’s Mexican Grill will now have a couple of options for taking a stroll to shop, following their authentic Mexican meal, while enjoying great prices, excellent quality and wide selections of products.
And visitors to the Downtown Chipley Christmas Parade will have an opportunity to enjoy some tasty snacks, courtesy of Blackmon’s, as they prepare to enjoy the holiday festival.
