Howard McAdams of Chipley, Florida went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2021, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.
Howard was born on June 15, 1930 in Chipley, Fl to Ervin McAdams and Clara Fussell. Howard served in the United States Navy for four years. With fifty plus years as a barber, he also worked 13 years and retired as a duty officer in the Panama City office of the Florida Highway Patrol. He was a faithful member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ervin and Clara McAdams; wife: Clara McAdams; son: Chris McAdams; brothers: Curtis McAdams, Charley McAdams; sister: Gladys Nelson
He is survived by his daughter: Dr. Melinda McAdams Mixon of Pensacola, FL; 2 grandchildren: Grayson Mixon (Joelle), Taylor Mixon (Hillary). brother: Richard McAdams (JoAnn) of Tallahassee, FL; sister: Ernestine Dotson of Seffner, FL.
Funeral Service will be held 10AM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Howell and Rev. Donnie Hussey. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
