Florida Panhandle Technical College Photography Program Captures Testimonials for 2022 ‘Teacher of the Year’ Awards

On Thursday, December 9, 2021, students in the Digital Photography Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College visited several schools in Chipley and Vernon, Florida to shoot photos and video which will be used in a documentary about the upcoming ‘Teacher of the Year’ Awards in the Washington County, Florida School District, as seen in these photos of and by students.

With winners in three categories receiving the opportunity to represent their respective positions in Florida state-wide competition, a strong field of eminently qualified competitors in the Washington County, Florida School District are vying for ‘Teacher of the Year’, ‘Rookie Teacher of the Year’ and ‘School Related Employee of the Year’.

The nominees and ultimate winners will be announced at the annual Award Ceremony on February 2, 2022 in Chipley, Florida, and the event will be highlighted by several video productions and as well as photography furnished by students in the Digital Photography Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College.

The event is also expected to be streamed live on social media, as well as made viewable after the event, courtesy of the FPTC Digital Video Production Program.
