Floyd Richard Gibbs, age 69, of Bonifay, Florida passed away December 10, 2021, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
He was born September 15, 1952, in Pompano, Florida. Richard is preceded in death by his step-father, Joe Fornby and one sister, Cynthia Sarvis.
Richard is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debbie Gibbs of Bonifay, FL; three children, Sharon Bearden and husband Daniel, Shannon Outler, and Chris Outler all of Bonifay, FL; three grandchildren, Jordan Outler, Ean Bearden, and Julian Bearden; one great-grandchild, Lyla Bearden; his mother, Jeanett Fornby of Chipley, FL; one brother, Lamar Fornby; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM. Memorialization will be by cremation.
