Florida Panhandle Technical College Students Work on Washington County School District ‘Teacher of the Year’ Production

By | December 15, 2021

On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, students from the Digital Video Technology Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College hosted FPTC IT and CyberSecurity Instructor Sherri Skipper as she recorder her video clip for submittal to the Florida State ‘Teacher of the Year’ competition, as seen in the accompanying video clip and photos (below).

Recently named ‘Teacher of the Year’ for Florida Panhandle Technical College, Skipper was tasked with filming a short 2-minute explanation of what being a teacher means to her, and the FPTC DVT students used the opportunity as a teaching moment in Studio B, the production facility located on the campus.

The Digital Video Technology Program, a combination of Photography, Videography, Audio Production, Drone Technology, Marketing, Website Production, Responsible Social Media, and other life skills, is open to dual-enrolled high school students and adults and is led by Instructor Paul Goulding.

Interested students and adults should contact Florida Panhandle Technical College, drop by Student Services at 757 Hoyt Street, visit the FPTC website at FPTC dot edu or call 850-638-1180 extension 317 on Monday through Friday from 8AM until 3PM, or email paul.goulding@fptc.edu.
