Florida Panhandle Technical College Student First Successful Participant in Innovative New Hybrid Program

By | December 16, 2021

Florida Panhandle Technical College, in conjunction with Chipola Workforce, recently launched a new program which allows students returning to the campus for their high school diploma, much as dual-enrolled high school students, to also enroll in a certification program.

Rex Radabaugh today, on Thursday, December 16, 2021, graduated from the Learning Resource Center on the FPTC campus and became a full-time student in the Digital Video Technology Program.

Radabaugh had been attending the diploma-tracked program for the past year, taking those classes in the morning, while spending the afternoon sessions in the DVT program.

Congratulations to Rex and all the other brave students who recognize the restrictions under which they find themselves, as far as employability, without a high school diploma, and who return to school, sometimes under adverse circumstances, to successfully improve their future with these programs.
